Just so my dear parents, sisters and close friends can keep up with us having a ball of a time in Vancouver!
And now back in Singapore...and still rocking!

Food for thought
There's my blackberry short-cake...
and my Dad in the background thinking I must be quite insane to photograph a pie thing.
And my mooncakes.
The jam just sits in the jars so....couldn't bear to sneak a snap at them in the fridge.
My family will really start to freak out if I did.
hi alison! I think....is that you? lotus paste lah - bought it though. but yes, I made the mooncake skin otherwise shy to put photos on blog, right? smoot asked for proof so....here goes. yuk! jam mooncakes! hmmm...maybe the kids will like them better with jam inside though ha ha. the ones with a lil button in the middle are egg yolk ones. the rest are just lotus seed paste and pumpkin seeds.
My true vocation is showing thru eh? ha ha ha. So you see. Was always meant to be a homemaker. SOOOOOO much more fulfilling. My Man ate the half but didn't like it - they've never tried mooncakes before. My dad n Yao ate the rest. Funny how you think the blackberries look yummy - they taste better in jam than on their own. Show you pics of my man picking in next entry. He's the best picker ever - we picked like 8 pounds (that's ridiculous) and had no choice but to make all sorts of blackberry concoctions lest they go to waste.
many moons ago you're right! man, can't even really remember that - I know though that you guys hated our gula-melaka sago though! but now I vaguely remember the carbonara.....oh...that figures all this cellulite now.

There are so many food blogs!!!! Photographing food is very normal these days.
Have you never sat next to people at a restaurant, who all took out their own cameras to take photos of the food before they start eating?
I love the 2 tiny mooncakes! Who ate half?
The pie thing looks really really good. Like really good. Nice.....
