Winter-time amusement
It's a full-time occupation.
I hear his grandparents aren't cracking up at that thought :) All I can say is, whatever takes his fancy, sweetie-pie, you got it.
Mostly a warm bubble-bath with balls in it would induce this reaction. Such a character, she is. Her brother calls her "monster baby", "monkey girl" and "you darb-fard!" interchangeably when she exasperates him. I admit I've no idea what a "darb-fard" is. He's not sure, either. But I guess it sounds rude enough to be labelled a curse-word in his vocab. I haven't yet tried to stop him using it coz it sounds so incredibly funny, no? - no, but honestly, the more I react, the more he'd use it so.....
Having said all that darb-fard. It's still all about the lurvvvv...
All bathrooms shots ah, I hear you bemoan? Well. It's just a tad grey, damp and cool outside (who are we kidding here?). So we hang out at home in PJs and amuse ourselves by taking lots of hot hot bubble baths. Hence, these lurvvly shots.
By the way, my Man's in preschool and enjoying it. There are the tears as expected. But I know he's ok when he gets inventive and embellishes his tales about school...."I cried sooo much. That fat woman (translated "teacher", he doesn't mean to be mean. he can't yet remember her name without having to think hard) got angry and said, "You tire me." I was ok at snack-time and pack-up time but not otherwise....I'm ok outside but not ok inside....". Such eloquence, it's so hard to not believe. But seriously, it means he's ok when he can talk so much about it. My Man.
