My heartthrob

I will never forget the first few days after the birth of my Belle. She cried out to be carried and as I reached for her I spied my Man's eyes - intense with emotion describable only as betrayal. They brimmed with tears threatening to overflow but he bravely held them back by avoiding my gaze....

I just need him to know that no matter what, he'll always be my special angel. My lion-hearted special angel :) That huge chunk of my heart which you stole so long ago, sweetie....it's yours forever.

Eye Candy

My type of!
Her new words are "where-bet" (rabbit) , "war" (roar) and "dead-dare!" (did it!)
This baby stuffs her face real quick (using proper baby cutlery or otherwise, whichever is faster) when she's hungry, then fills up real quick, pulls off her bib and declares, "dead-dare!" before trying to climb off her high-chair. My Belle.

My Main Man

What my Main Man agreed with me yesterday evening made me as ecstatic as when I "found" him hiding in my London apartment bathtub on Valentine's day after classes during my Bar year. It was obviously in the middle of the week (read also "mid-term") and train fares were (and still is) obviously incredibly expensive....so it was the sweetest surprise ever when he nonetheless turned up onValentine's day from Hull (many hours away from me) with balloons and all (dun have a fetish for those but seeing them floating around in my apartment in the middle of the week was a damn thrill I tell ya!)
Am just thrilled that same way now :)

Cypress Mountains

Snuck away to the Cypress mountains for a 3 hour ski-fest with my sweetheart....
but majorly missed my darlings so we made up for it the rest of the weekend by going to Science World (to play all day) and Sifu Raymond Cheung's party at night (where they danced and karaoked the nite away - my kids, I mean. Seriously.) and pigged out on waffles and pancakes - at my Man's request. Feel all is fair now :)

Dragon hunting

In the backyard. They found a "tunnel" and speared it with their bamboo "weapons" to scare the dragon so he wouldn't come out and "disturb" us anymore. That's their story...
And whilst I was updating this site, my Man said to me to "type A R T here so they have my number..." He just asked me if I've done as he had instructed. "So my friends can call me...do it" Yes, your highness. Please keep the calls coming in lest I get blamed.

My Man's quotable quotes:-

"When the drums [lion dance drums] beat, my stomach beats." - at the conclusion of the CNY Chintown parade.

"You are a porcupine without spikes!" was an "insult" he hurled at Daddy one day when they were having a verbal "battle".

"You are a house without...er...er...er lights and a balcony!" when he ran out of "insults" to trade.

Can't get enough of Sun Peaks

My snow angels....
Transportation in the peaks...
Ho ho. Bundles of joy!
Icicles outside our hotel room window! Super romantic if you ask me...
My baby skier.

Sun Peaks, Kamloops

Back and recharged from an activity-filled weekend in Sun Peaks! Hear hear!
Hot-tubbing in the midst of the snowy Sun Peaks is the ultimate luxury!
[Delta, Sun Peaks Hotel]

We did our bit of skiing - for the 2nd time in our lives! Our year 2002 Yong Pyong (did I get that right?) Korea ski lessons did us well inspite of the grunting ski instructor and body-language-style learning (hmph) because of the obvious language barrier. We still remember how to ski (without crashing into other skiers, mind you) after all these years! Wey-hey!

Honey, Kit, Germaine, Stefan, Sooks, CJ, Chiam & Wee Ling - COME JOIN US. The baby-sitting services here rock. I'm sooo happy. We'll definitely go back for more ;p

With at least 170 cm of snow and lovely sunshine, no one could suppress their excitement.

The -1 degree celsius temperature never felt more invigorating.

My Man took his first ski lesson with Joe, a 20 year old Kamloops native (in other words, a blue blooded "ey?" Canadian who has never set foot outside of Canada, much less Kamloops). Who did jolly good with my Man actually, ey? My Man skis now! Wey-hey, ey!
