My footballer!

Just so my dear parents, sisters and close friends can keep up with us having a ball of a time in Vancouver! And now back in Singapore...and still rocking!
The real-life Skywalkers. My Man and his 5 year-old mate, Isaac. This evening, he stretched his arm to its fullest length and insisted I smell his Mcnugget ["Smell this mommy. Smell it!"]....puzzled, I took a quick whiff then asked why? His reply, "Mmmm....smells good? I liiike the smell. I love nuggets.....yum yum mmmmm...." Such precious moments will forever lock themselves in my head... no matter how alzhimed I get!
My Princess' new hat, courtesy of Auntie Deborah [Isaac's mom]. Sassy combo, 'ey? [just practicing my Canadian twang la]
We spent today at Science World. My Man got scientific peering through the microscope at teeny bugs and tarantulas (not one bit teeny if you ask me!) and my Belle did her scribbles her way (into the mouth then onto the paper - voila water-colour!)
And yes. Yet another forlorn picture of them for gwandma and gwandpa. My Man stated matter of factly today whilst looking out at the patio, "Nope. No gwandpa out there...."
"When will gwandpa and gwandma come again?" asked the kids pensively...we miss you loads.....
Autumn's real pretty here, gwandma, gwandpa.....won't you come see for yourselves?
See how beautiful? All reds and yellows....all the warm hues of Fall right at our doorstep......
Tonight they fell asleep at about 8pm. I'm praying hard they won't wake at midnite and play till 4am like my Man did last night. It was a nightmare. Jet-lag's a beast. Tonight's good-nite prayer turned out terribly wrong when my Man mumbled, "...Father in Heaven, Holy be your cry, ....Kingdom cry, will be there.....Amen." Plenty missing in between and the rest didn't sound too prayful either, oh dear. Thought he was tired but he burst out laughing all too soon. My cheeky Prince.
Four things I loathe, in no particular order:-
1. folding laundered clothes
2. ironing laundered clothes (horrors!)
3. unpacking after a holiday (dreadful)
4. missing my parents (painful)
are adjusting A-OK and frolicking in the buff as is usual when the minder's a hassled single-handed mom juggling meals, laundry and trying to keep the peace between 2 ultra-busy kids in the house. I guess all that matters is that they're contented - clothed or otherwise :) I'll deal with missing my parents in my spare time. Yup. Time to call them yet again :)
Family day at the Sentosa Underwater World! Yet unrivalled one of the best days of our lives. The husband and the kids have never been happier than fish spotting back home. Home is indeed THE food and shopping paradise.
My Man's and my Belle's combined birthday party at Auntie Becky's. Lotsa friends and yumilicious food and fun. It was wonderful just spending time with relatives and close friends again.
My Man even met his almost twin (born a day apart apparently!), Nicole, at his own pre-birthday party! Altogether a fruitful holiday home!
